Working backwards through the series, I hereby present Eden -Rei8-.  Plenty of Rei and Shinji, but no Asuka at all (Boo!). Simple story, so I’ll let you read it yourself instead of wasting time describing it. Working on this reminded me how much I love really high res scans. So much easier to read, and it ends up looking so much better.

[Faker+Keny] Zetsubou no Uta (ENG) =LWB=

Finally it’s finished. This is an anthology contaning ten stories total. This includes the four stories that were translated as part of The Long Road Home (which it turns out is the name of one of the stories).  Same kind of content, lolis getting raped, fisted, impregnated with insects and aliens, tortured, gang banged, etc. If it’s some kind of extreme, it’s probably in here somewhere.

[Kohakutei Sakai Hamachi] Eden -Rei9- (ENG) =LWB=

Fresh off the press from Winter Comiket, the latest offering from Kohakutei Sakai Hamachi. A relatively straightforward Evangelion doujin featuring Rei and Shinji getting sneaky at school and home. There’s a few pages in the middle and at the end that hints at some kind of ongoing story, but I’m not sure what that’s about. Possibly I’ll translate the rest and see. The only other one of this series I’ve found translated is the third, but raws of volumes 4 through 8 seem available.

P.S. This project was actually a distraction. I’ve been working on finishing off Zetsubou no Uta given that I’ve already translated half of it, but a couple of the stories are brutally difficult so I picked this up as something to take my mind off it. And it turned out to be kind of a nice story so win/win. : )

[Studio ParM] PM18 Fallen Idol (ENG) =LWB=

The second installment of Studio ParM’s Macross Frontier doujinshi. It’s somewhat connected to the first, but despite being raped multiple times in the first volume she’s somehow magically a virgin again for this one. Whatever, I just roll with it. This time Ranka’s been hired out to make a porn movie, and various things happen. Use your imagination. : )

There’s a third Macross Frontier book by the same guys, but I’m not sure if it follows the same plotline (if you wanna call it that). For starters, Ranka’s suddenly grown a penis. But I suppose these things happen. If a scan turns up I’ll probably translate it, but I doubt it’s high priority among the people who do such things. Maybe one day.

[Studio ParM] PM17 Slutty Daughter Rape Store (ENG) =LWB=

First release of 2009!

This is the first of a (currently) three book series from Studio ParM. Another Macross Frontier based work, it prominently features Ranka and Nanase as cafe workers who have been forced to take part in shady sex industry dealings. Starts with a few nice colour pages, and has a really excellent art style. I spend a lot of time looking at these pages translating them, and I was very impressed by the effort the artist has put into drawing backgrounds. Considering that probably 90+% of people aren’t going to look past the main focus of a scene, it’s really quite pleasant to find other interesting parts for those paying attention.

Due to a request (which has since been deleted for posting in all caps), I’m trying to upload to a variety of file-sharing sites. For some reason Megaupload/Megarotic are being a giant pain in the ass, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually.

…And a Happy New Year!

Hope the holiday season has been kind to you all. New Years release has been delayed due to beer, hangovers, sleeping and me wanting to get off my ass and start using Photoshop instead of The GIMP. It’s a good program, but there’s a few key things that are just much harder to do than they need to be (notably having black text with a little white border around it for visibility). Since editing is probably the least fun and most time consuming part of the whole process anyway I do what I can to make it easier.

Anyway, long story short, releases will resume in the next couple of days (hopefully). This year’s resolution: try and average at least one release a week for the year. We’ll see how that turns out. I’m looking forward to providing content for you all in the coming year. Take it easy. : )
